To create and maintain a supportive and enabling environment for Black women and their families and to foster a sense of sisterhood.
To provide leadership for our Black youth.
To plan and implement programs and activities to assist in meeting identified needs in a manner that recognizes and respects individual dignity.
To provide a network of solidarity and liaison with local, national and international organizations; whose purpose and objectives are similar to those of the Congress.
To act as a resource in facilitating harmonious understanding between our community, government bodies and others.
To play an advocacy role in education.
To liaise with other organizations and community resources whose purpose and objectives are similar to those of the Chapter.
To heighten visibility of the work of the Congress of Black Women of Canada throughout the province.
