Chapter History

The Congress of Black Women of Canada, Ontario Region – Ajax/Pickering Chapter is a voluntary non-profit organization that was established in March, 1996. Our chapter consists of a dynamic group of women who are dedicated to advocating on behalf of Black women and their families.  Members work tirelessly to accomplish those goals.

The Chapter is involved in developing programs and activities that promote the well-being, health, and educational opportunities for Black women and their families in Ajax and Pickering.  We also work to foster harmony within our community.
